For more than a decade, The Taco Stop has been recognized for its awards—but what truly defines us is the community that surrounds us. From our earliest days serving late-night tacos from a small cart to becoming a full-service restaurant, our growth has always been fueled by the people who walk through our doors. Guests became regulars, regulars became friends, and those relationships are the foundation of everything we do.
The recognition we’ve received along the way—national and local alike—has been incredibly meaningful. Being named among USA TODAY’s Best Restaurants and earning 1st Place for Best Taco in NOCO Style Magazine’s “Best Of” Awards are milestones we’re proud of. Still, awards are moments in time. What matters most is consistency: showing up every day with care, listening to feedback, and making sure every guest feels welcomed and valued.
Our food reflects that same mindset. Rooted in Chef Cesar’s Mexico City upbringing, each taco is made to be comforting, bold, and honest. Equally important is service that feels genuine—never rushed, never transactional. We believe hospitality should feel human, and that belief continues to shape how we train our team and serve our guests.
As we look ahead to 2026, we feel both grateful and energized. A new year brings new ideas, new flavors, and new opportunities to deepen the relationships that got us here. We’re excited to keep evolving while staying true to what has always mattered: great food, warm service, and a place where the community feels at home. The future is wide open, and we can’t wait to step into it together.
